He is a key member of a music band and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his passions. At a young age, Srijoy authored two notable books, Golden Wings and Gem of Filth, both published by Literoma.
Srijoy’s journey into writing began during his college years at Drexel University. Reflecting on his early experiences, he shares, “I wrote about the three years I spent at Drexel and sent it to some people. After it got noticed, I began writing other short stories. I then started writing Golden Wings for fun because the idea flowed well. I also started reading more books after my second year at Drexel, which sparked writing ideas.”
Through his creations, Srijoy always emphasized the importance of audience and reader engagement.
One of the most surprising things Srijoy learned in his creative journey is the natural flow of ideas. Discussing the significance of his debut book, Srijoy explained, “Golden Wings represents the limbs of the angels. Tangela is a name of a character in the book. The meaning of the name is ‘angel’.”
Srijoy’s message to all his readers and listeners is heartfelt and sincere: “I needed an outlet for self-help and relaxation.”
