Market Volatility Expected: Astrologer Vineet Garg Warns of 10% Decline in Financials, Nifty & Nifty Bank

by | Feb 18, 2026 | Business

As the stock market braces for potential turbulence, Vineet Garg, a Vastu consultant and astrologer from Ludhiana, offers a cautious outlook for the upcoming weeks. With over 20 years of expertise in occult sciences and extensive research on market cycles, Garg blends planetary analysis with sectoral trends to forecast market movements.

He predicts increased volatility in the short term, especially in banking and financial stocks. While Garg does not foresee a market crash, he anticipates a phase of consolidation with downward pressure on key financial sectors. According to him, certain planetary alignments suggest uncertainty, particularly in emotionally-driven industries like banking and NBFCs.

More specifically, he suggests that the investors with the SBI, Bank of Baroda, or ICICI bank holdings can contemplate booking profits in case they are sitting on gains. In the same breath, profit booking in terms of present value should be considered by those who had made good returns in the metal sector. But, Garg points out that he is not advising panic selling throughout the board. He advises those who are already in the money to take advantage of gains and wait before prices turn out to be favorable before putting back money in.

Garg also cites a grouping of planetary mixtures that happen within the coming time, which may cause turbulence in the Nifty and banking industries. He adds on that, there are some configurations that imply some stress to a Gujrat Origin company which has experienced some cases in the past. Banks that are exposed to such a group may experience pressure in case such stress arises, exposing the financial stocks to further turmoil.

He marks the final five to seven days of February and the whole month of March which go up to about 15th April (or safely until 20th March) as a tender period. There is also a possibility of markets falling down to about 8-10 percent of their current levels within this time frame in case negative triggers get in tune with each other.

All in all, Garg forecasts volatility and sector rotation, and financials may not perform as well, PSU and auto sector action may slow down, and metals may be structurally weak.

He ends with a very clear disclaimer: This view is informed by my simple study of astronomy and personal research. It is distributed only in informational and educative form.
