From Cancer Survivor to Law Student and Motivational Speaker
Payal Solanki’s journey is a testament to resilience and determination. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer, at the tender age of 13 in 2017, Payal faced immense challenges. Following surgery that left her leg significantly altered and her backbone shifted, she embarked on a grueling path of 10 surgeries and 15 chemotherapy sessions over the course of a year.
Despite these hardships, Payal’s unwavering faith and the unwavering support of her family became her pillars of strength. In 2018, she completed her treatment, emerging as a beacon of hope and courage for many. Today, at 20 years old, Payal is not only a law student but also a motivational speaker and the founder of an NGO dedicated to cancer awareness.
Her journey of overcoming cancer has been marked by numerous accolades and recognitions. Payal was honored as the First Miss India in the cancer category, highlighting her advocacy and inspirational impact. She has graced stages with powerful performances at cancer events, spreading awareness and hope through her words and actions.
Payal’s efforts have garnered widespread acclaim, including the prestigious India’s Real Life Heroes Award and the Help Artist India Influencer’s Women Award. Her advocacy for cancer awareness has reached national platforms, with features on DD National and praise from notable figures such as Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and India’s President Draupadi Murmu.
