Pranay D. Sure, an alumnus of IIM and NIT, transformed a deeply personal experience into an innovative solution that has redefined female hygiene. Together with his former IIM roommates, he founded SisLove, the world’s first sanitary wipe—a patented product designed to remove blood stains from clothes and sanitize the area in under a minute.
The inspiration for this groundbreaking product came from a chance encounter that left a lasting impact on Pranay. While at a local shop with friends, he noticed a young girl walking home from school with her mother. The giggles and pointing fingers of bystanders caught his attention. The cause? A period stain on the girl’s uniform. Pranay tried to help by offering a water bottle, but it wasn’t enough. The mother, embarrassed, quickly led her daughter into an auto. What stayed with Pranay was the girl’s expression—a mix of confusion, panic, and helplessness.
This moment struck a chord, igniting Pranay’s determination to find a practical solution for such situations. He realized period stains are a common issue for women, often linked to societal stigmas. After brainstorming with his friends and co-founder Amit Lariya, Pranay embarked on a mission to create a product addressing this need.
SisLove Wipes emerged as a first-of-its-kind product, designed to remove stains effortlessly while ensuring hygiene. Powered by patented technology, these wipes offer a quick, effective solution and aim to empower women to manage period challenges confidently.
Bringing SisLove to life was challenging. The team invested in extensive research and development, collaborating with medical experts, chemists, and designers to ensure safety and effectiveness. Securing a patent solidified their position in the market.
More than a product, SisLove is a movement challenging menstrual taboos and encouraging open conversations. It empowers women to embrace their cycles without shame, redefining Gen Z female hygiene with confidence.
