Age 14, but with such remarkable talent that everyone is amazed… This is about Siddharth Nandyala, an Indian-origin American student. He has created an AI that can detect heart diseases in just 7 seconds.
14-year-old Siddharth is the world’s youngest AI-certified professional. Oracle and Arm have certified him as an AI expert. Siddharth, who lives in Texas, has developed an AI-powered app called “Cardio V,” which detects heart diseases within 7 seconds by recording heart sounds through a smartphone. It has an accuracy of over 96%. This has been tested on 15,000 people in the US and 700 patients in Gurugram, India.
Siddharth, who was born in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, developed this innovation to address the problems he has personally faced. His father, Mahesh Nandyala, stated that Siddharth’s innovations stem from challenges he has experienced.
3.3 Crore Prosthetic Arm
While in Hyderabad, Siddharth met a boy who could not afford a prosthetic arm. This inspired him to create an affordable alternative. Typically, prosthetic arms can cost around ₹3.3 crore, but Siddharth is working on making them available for just ₹25,000.
These prosthetic arms will function using EEG technology, allowing control through thoughts. This will benefit children who cannot afford to buy new prosthetic arms repeatedly.
Siddharth has also established a STEM-IT company that provides students worldwide with education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through this initiative, he teaches coding, robotics, and AI training. Andhra Pradesh’s CM Chandrababu Naidu personally met Siddharth.
