On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Shraddha Ramani, proudly joins forces to raise awareness and combat the widespread issue of gender-based violence. She has extended her support to those dedicated to this cause, recognizing the remarkable individuals who are tirelessly working to safeguard women, promote gender equality, and eliminate violence globally. Managed by UN Women, the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, under the UNiTE initiative, highlights the alarming rise in violence against women, with this year’s theme: “Every 10 Minutes, a woman is killed. #NoExcuse. UNiTE to End Violence Against Women.”

She says “Today, as we observe the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, it is a moment to reflect on the challenges women face and the resilience they embody. Violence against women is a global issue that demands systemic change, not just awareness. Shraddha Ramani, a renowned author and educator, emphasizes empowering women through education, empathy, and community support.
