Justice J.R. Middha (Former Judge, Delhi High Court) and Pawan Reley, Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India have revised the 9th edition of B V Vishwanatha Aiyar’s Commentary on the Code of Civil Procedure. The comprehensive three-volume work, spanning 3,500 pages, is designed to serve as a vital resource for practicing advocates, academicians, and legal professionals specializing in civil law across India.

The book launch event, held on September 10, 2024, saw the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Hon’ble Mr. Justice Manmohan, Acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, and Mr. N. Venkatraman, Additional Solicitor General of India.

The ceremony was attended by an illustrious gathering, including senior advocates from the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court, law school directors and professors, as well as advocates from various bar associations. During the event, the Book received widespread appreciation for his contribution to the legal field, with special acknowledgment from Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge, Supreme Court of India.
