On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Charul Chaturvedi Jaitly, proudly joins forces to raise awareness and combat the widespread issue of gender-based violence. She has extended her support to those dedicated to this cause, recognizing the remarkable individuals who are tirelessly working to safeguard women, promote gender equality, and eliminate violence globally. Managed by UN Women, the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, under the UNiTE initiative, highlights the alarming rise in violence against women, with this year’s theme: “Every 10 Minutes, a woman is killed. #NoExcuse. UNiTE to End Violence Against Women.”

Leading the Charge for Women’s Safety & Equality

She says “On this significant day, we come together to raise our voices against the widespread violence affecting millions of women globally. Lasting change begins with awareness, empathy, and education. By working collectively—speaking out against abuse, supporting legal reforms, and creating safe spaces—we can protect women’s rights and end violence.”

She further adds “Every action, no matter how small, counts. Let’s transform this day into a movement that fosters equality, safety, and justice for all. Together, we can create a world where women are free from violence and discrimination.”
