Ending Violence Through Awareness & Action
She says “On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Usha Mani calls for a collective awakening. Violence against women is not only an individual tragedy but a societal failure that demands urgent and sustained action. We are at a critical juncture where silence is no longer an option. For too long, the cries of injustice have been ignored. Ask yourself: Is your daughter safe? If not, what steps are we taking to change this reality?”
She further adds “This is not about marches or slogans—it’s about decisive action. Teach your sons to value womanhood and empower daughters with the tools to protect themselves. True freedom comes from self-respect, enhanced self-image, and reclaimed dignity. Women are neither puppets nor slaves. It’s time to rise, act, and secure safety and equality for all”
